Thank you for your patience and participation.
The vote has been re-set (although still temporarily active).

For EMDR clinicians only:
Please read all below - the whole process should take only a minute or so of your time.

Please answer once for each question in the poll on the linked page, designed to to estimate the main patterns of Dual-Attention-Stimuli/Bilateral Stimulation (DAS/BLS) in common use.

Questions 1-4 ask about the preferred method of BLS for clients, using (in combination or individually) visual, audiotry or tactile modes.

Question 5 asks about how many clients recieve CONTINUOUS BLS through EMDR sets, as opposed to discrete stimulated sets with breaks.

Question 6 asks whether you prefer manual or mechanical and electronic aids for BLS.

Please record the nearest answer that best refelcts your practice. Understandably, this is not a precision scale and answers are approximate. There are no checks on the answers given and you cannot change your answers once VOTE is pressed, nor access the voting screen again.

The survey is completely anonymous and was active from 1-28 April for the main listserve (after which the numbers were zeroed) and will be open for approximately two weeks for the second survey. The results will be posted and remain available in some form after the survey closes. After you have voted, you may later view the polls to check results but you will be unable to vote more than once. A summary report of the results of both surveys will be sent to the EMDR Institute's main lists.

Unfortunately, due to the design of the system, after each question is answered you are required to click on BLS Survey at the top of the page to return to answer the each question. Please accept my apologies for the lack of elegence but the polls were designed as a 'one question' system and I thought it would be good to have a variety of responses.

Please click each question in turn below to start.

N.B. Please remember to click on the "BLS Survey" at the top of the page after each vote to answer every question.

Thank you for giving your time and taking part,

Philip Dutton.
